Bio

Sara Dziri is a DJ, producer, vocalist, and sound artist whose genre-defying creations fuse emotional depth with rhythmic intensity.  Her sound draws from a rich blend of SWANA polyrhythms, ambient textures, and high-energy club sounds, delivering a sonic experience that moves effortlessly between introspective stillness and explosive, dancefloor-shaking moments.  Sara’s music doesn’t just entertain — it explores.  With an unmistakable sonic fingerprint, she creates soundscapes that linger, challenging listeners to engage with the emotional and cultural layers embedded in every beat.

As an artist, Sara’s journey has been shaped by her deep connection to the Brussels rave scene and her North-African heritage, culminating in her debut album Close to Home (2022), a raw and intimate exploration of her evolving voice.

With Black Hole(2024), her first self-directed music and dance performance, she boldly bridges electronic music with contemporary dance, continuing to push boundaries and redefine what it means to be a genre-bending artist.  But Sara’s impact doesn’t stop at her own music.  As the co-founder and driving force behind Not Your Techno, an inclusive party series based in Brussels, she is reshaping the electronic music scene, advocating for decolonial, SWANA, and queer representation with every event.  Not Your Techno is more than a party — it’s a movement, where Sara’s commitment to creating space for underrepresented voices is as strong as her passion for breaking musical boundaries.

Whether she’s behind the decks or behind the scenes, Sara Dziri brings an unwavering energy that’s reshaping the future of electronic music.
